A book review is an essay, not a book report. It does not just
tell a reader the synopsis of a plot. It includes the reviewer’s analysis and
opinion of the book. Keep in mind, there is no correct method to write a book
review. Book review writing are extremely personal and imitate the opinions of the
commentator. A book review may be as small as 50- 100 words, or as extended as

which may cool your experience of the book.
Ways to Approach the Review
Outline the contents of the book. Evaluate and make critical
comments on the book. Make use of quotations or references to the new data in
the book to demonstrate your subject. Evaluate the book with a comparable work
by a modern. Indicate the author’s intentions, together with the audience for
which the book is planned. Relate the work to a social or legendary trend.
